Race the Sun is an unique event in the Lake District.

Teams of 4 must complete cycling, climbing and canoeing sections of the event starting at sunrise and finishing by sunset, racing the sun!

Those taking part cycle a total of 50 miles, hike to the summit of England’s second highest mountain, Helvellyn and canoe a 5km course on Lake Thirlmere.

We will be taking part on Saturday 6th September 2008 and training for the event in the months leading up to the charity fund raising day.
